About the AU + NZ Mushroom Growers Conference

The Australian Mushroom Growers’ Association (AMGA) and the New Zealand Commercial Mushroom Growers Federation invites you to the AU + NZ Mushroom Growers Conference, in Auckland, New Zealand, this October. 

This years event marks the 45th AMGA Conference, and we are delighted to partner with New Zealand growers. Held every two years, the AMGA conference is the principal meeting point for professionals involved in the commercial Agaricus Bisporus industry in Australasia and welcomes numerous guests from overseas. The conference is made up of suppliers, growers, farm owners and well respected national and international speakers. This conference is the perfect occasion to gain pragmatic advice from our speakers, learn about new technologies, and connect with other mushroom industry professionals through genuine networking opportunities.

This exciting three-day event will be held in Auckland, at the Grand Millennium Hotel, starting with a pre-conference farm tour scheduled for Tuesday 22nd October, and a two day conference and exhibition, Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th October. With two networking events, a networking cocktail function and a gala dinner. More details on these events will be released soon. 

The exhibition on Wednesday and Thursday are an essential part of the conference, which provides a platform for our sponsors and exhibitors to speak face-to-face with decision makers and connect with other companies in the market.

This year’s event also features two farm tour options. Tuesday 22nd October, to tour Mercer Mushrooms and Mercer Mushrooms unique compost facility, as part of the three-day conference pass, and after the conference, Australian and international delegates are invited to purchase an all-inclusive additional ticket, to tour Meadow Mushrooms in Christchurch. More details about these farm tours, and the additional package to Christchurch will be made available soon.
